Column is a simple suspended downlight. The light source is hidden deep inside a marble cylinder. Light penetrating the marble exposes the translucency and fragility of marble stone, while revealing the natural beauty of its pattern. Suspended in mid-air the object feels weightless; it produces a soft diffused light from the sides, and a focused downlight from the bottom.
